This is what makes our cashmere so special:

• Lighter than cotton: Cashmere is lighter than organic cotton and comfortable to wear. As a result, the clothing is hardly noticeable and feels like a second skin.
• Excellent heat retention: Cashmere retains heat up to six times better than conventional cotton without overheating, making it ideal for cold days.
• Advantages in summer: Cashmere is temperature-regulating and therefore pleasantly cool to wear even in summer.
• Easy care: Cashmere does not need to be washed frequently, it is often sufficient to air the garments in the fresh air until the odours have neutralized.

Our cashmere comes from free-range and species-appropriate goat herds from the Mongolian high plateau in Inner Mongolia. Due to the extreme temperature fluctuations there, the animals develop a particularly soft undercoat that naturally regulates their body climate. In order to obtain the fine fibers, the hair of each animal is lovingly combed out individually instead of shorn - this guarantees the highest quality and fair, sustainable production.

Contrary to many myths, machine washing is often the better choice. Use the wool wash cycle at a maximum of 30 °C and a low spin speed of 400 rpm. Be sure to use a mild, liquid wool or special cashmere detergent (such as our Cashmere Care Shampoo) to preserve the natural protective layers of the fibers.

Please always store horizontally and folded in the wardrobe. The fine material loses its shape on hangers over time.

Tip: As cashmere is naturally dirt-repellent, extensive airing in the fresh air is often enough to remove light odors!

Cashmere is a fine natural fiber that has a natural protective film of wool grease. Conventional detergents often contain aggressive surfactants or enzymes that attack this protection and dry out the fibers. Our shampoo is moisturizing and restores valuable lanolin to the fibres to keep them soft and cuddly.

Pilling is the small knots that form on the surface due to friction. This is a completely natural process with high-quality cashmere and is not a sign of poor quality.

When used gently in the direction of the fibers, the comb is very safe. It is specially designed to remove only the excess, matted fibers to make your piece look like new again.
