"Cashmere for kids" is not a contradiction at PAPA LOBSTER, but a promise. Designed by two mothers, our products have been tried and tested on the playground, at nursery and school, on the beach, when baking, painting and crafting and have been rated as particularly hard-wearing and easy to care for:
Did you know that cashmere fibers have dirt-repellent properties? Dirt and liquids often simply roll off. We parents especially love that. And if you can't avoid washing your PAPA LOBSTER knitwear, simply put it in the washing machine (wool wash cycle + liquid wool detergent).
With our five care tips, you can enjoy your favorite cashmere items for a long time with little effort.
5 CARE TIPS
How to keep your cashmere beautiful for a long time

Machine wash
Take courage! Cashmere can go in the washing machine without any problems. Wash your favorite items at a maximum of 30 °C at 400 rpm in the wool cycle of a well-functioning washing machine with liquid wool detergent.

Alternative - hand wash
To wash cashmere hands, use lukewarm water up to a maximum of 30 °C and liquid wool detergent. Gentle immersion and gentle squeezing will remove dirt particles. Attenzione: Do not leave in the water for too long and do not squeeze too hard! The cashmere items should then be carefully rinsed with clear water.

Dry correctly
Drying and hanging on a washing line are taboo for cashmere as it will lose its shape. Lay the damp cashmere piece flat on a towel or other absorbent surface to dry and carefully shape it.

Steaming & ironing
That's right, you can - and should - steam iron cashmere easily. Run a steam iron over the cashmere at a low temperature and without strong pressure. In this way, the cashmere pieces retain their shape and the cashmere fibers develop their typical fluffiness.

Pilling
As with all woolen knitwear, cashmere can pilling due to wear and friction. After washing, simply pluck off the small knots of wool or remove them with a cashmere comb or shaver.

Good to know
In a fluffy frenzy with regular washing
Cashmere regenerates after every wash and retains its original shape thanks to the elastic recovery of the fibers. In addition, cashmere only forms its typical fluff when it is worn and washed, giving it its fluffy, cuddly soft character. So don't be afraid of regular washing, which makes our cashmere items more beautiful and cozier.
