Production of our cashmere children's sweaters

Did you know that cashmere is made from the cuddly undercoat of cashmere goats?

Our cashmere comes from free-range and species-appropriate goat herds from Inner Mongolia. Due to extreme temperature fluctuations on the Mongolian high plateau, cashmere goats develop their incomparably soft, supple undercoat, which naturally regulates their body climate. Our goat farmers do not shear the hair, but comb it out on each individual animal.

How we calculate our prices

The price of our items depends not only on the technical effort and careful planning, but above all on the weight of the cashmere used. The more cashmere we use - whether 2, 4 or 8-ply - and depending on the size of the model, the weight and therefore the price will vary.

Caring for cashmere sweaters properly

Children's sweatshirts should not be washed regularly as they are self-cleaning. However, if the sweater gets very dirty, it can be washed with a wool detergent or a special detergent for cashmere. This preserves the natural protective layer of the fibers. As a general rule, cashmere garments should always be turned inside out . Then wash in the washing machine on a wool wash program. The temperature should not exceed 30 degrees . In addition, the children's sweater should not be washed at more than 600 revolutions per minute on the spin cycle.

Correct storage

After washing, it is best to hang the children's sweater in the bathroom to dry. The steam will make the fibers nice and soft again. Please avoid direct sunlight during storage. This is not good for the cashmere sweater. Compression should also be avoided.
